Key Accomplishments

  • Designed a responsive UI using GluestackUI and Nativewind.
  • Managed local and server state with Zustand and TanStack Query for optimized data fetching and caching.
  • Built forms for creating and managing groceries, receipts, user registration, and login using Formik with Yup for validation.
  • Implemented backend API with Express and integrated authentication using Passport.js, supporting both local and JWT strategies for secure user sign-in.
  • Designed database models with Prisma for PostgreSQL and created a seed script for local testing and development.
  • Automated CI pipeline with GitHub Actions to enforce linting and formatting with Prettier, as well as automate releases using Semantic Release.
  • Developed an expense overview graph for the current year using Gifted Charts, enabling an interactive visualization of spending trends.
